Setup Tab

  1. Enter the hotel group's API Key, Group ID, and Group Name into the "API Data" section of the "Setup" tab
    1. Note: Your API Key, Group ID, and Group Name can be found by clicking the "Settings" link when logged into Revcaster

Note: Setup tab instructions only need to be completed when setting up the tool for a new hotel group

 

GroupHotels Tab

  1. Click the "Update Group Hotels" button to download a list of all hotels in your group

Note: The "GroupHotels" tab only needs to be updated when you are setting up the tool for the first time or when a new hotel is added to your group

 

 

Reports Tab

  1. Select a hotel and compset (if multiple compsets exist for a hotel) from the drop down menu. The drop down menu will include all hotels/compsets in your group (all hotels/compsets on the GroupHotels tab)
  2. Click the "Update Reports" button to download a list of all available reports for the selected hotel/compset

Note: The "Reports" tab only needs to be updated when you are setting up the tool for a new hotel or when one of your selected hotel's reports have been added, changed, or deleted

 

 

 

 

ReportUpdate Tab

  1. Select from the drop down boxes the Report, Channel, and Rate Type that you want each of the LOS tabs to be updated with
    1. Note: There are 8 report tabs, 4 current and 4 history, so up to 4 different report and LOS combinations can be selected. Each paired current and history report tab will have the same Report, Channel, and Rate Type. You will only make selections for the current report tabs. The history report tabs will automatically be updated with the selected values for the current report tabs
  2. Select an Offset (# of reports prior) to use for each history report tab. All current report tabs cannot be changed and will have an Offset of 0
  3. Select which report tab pairs to update by selecting "Yes" or "No" from the drop down menu for each current report tab. You will only make selections for the current report tabs. The history report tabs will automatically be updated with the selected values for the current report tabs
    1. Note: A report tab might be set to "No" if for example only 3 different LOS reports are being setup. In this case the last report tab pair would be set to "No"

Note: Steps 1 - 3 only need to be completed when a new hotel or new reports are being setup in the tool. These steps do not to be repeated when a current rates are being updated for an existing setup

  1. Click the "Update All Reports" button to download the rates from the latest reports into the tool
    1. Note: All fields in the "Report Check" column should be green. If any of the fields are red, then it means that one of the selected reports on the "ReportUpdate" tab does not match a report on the "Reports" tab. The reports on both tabs must match before the system will update                                                                                         
    2. Note: After the "Update All Reports" button is clicked, you will not be able to use Excel until the tool is updated and you receive a "Report Update Complete!" message

 

Summary Tab

  1. Select "Weekday", or "Weekends" from "Weekday / Weekend" toggle to filter for weekdays or weekends. "All Days" is the default option
